First tranche of protective masks for Rhineland-Palatinate

As part of BASF’s “Helping Hands” campaign in the fight against the corona pandemic, BASF is donating 100 million protective masks to the Federal Republic of Germany. The company is also donating 1 million masks to the State of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Malu Dreyer, Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate, receives the first tranche of a total of 1 million protective masks from Martin Brudermüller, Chairman of BASF’s Board of Executive Directors. BASF’s corporate headquarters are located in Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate. With around 35,000 employees, it is BASF’s largest production site worldwide.
