The Chemicals segment consists of the Intermediates, Monomers, Petrochemicals and Catalysts divisions. In our integrated production facilities – our Verbund – we produce a broad range of basic chemicals and higher value products in Europe, Asia and North America for our internal and external customers.

In the Chemicals segment, we supply products to customers in the chemical, electronics, construction, textile, automotive, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries as well as many others. Our portfolio ranges from basic chemicals, glues and electronic chemicals for the semiconductor and solar cell industries, to solvents, plasticizers and large-volume monomers, as well as starting materials for detergents, plastics, textile fibers, paints and coatings, and pharmaceuticals.
